Travelers will find the abundance of shops, cafes, and restaurants to be conveniently accessible on foot, making day-to-day adventures rewarding and refreshing. However, it's worth noting that some peripheral neighborhoods might require additional transport options, and safety measures are advisable, especially after dark.

Trujillo offers a generally reliable network of public transportation options predominantly using minibuses, combis, and collective taxis that are inexpensive and readily available. While the future may see the introduction of a more efficient Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, the current lack of an integrated transport system can sometimes lead to challenges in navigation and scheduling.
