Yokohama boasts an excellent public transportation system that includes multiple railway companies such as JR, Tokyu, Keikyu, and Sotetsu, as well as two subway lines and an extensive bus network. These services provide easy access to various districts within Yokohama and make it easy to travel to nearby cities like Tokyo. Travelers benefit from tourist-friendly bus loops like the Akaikutsu ("Red Shoes") bus, and the availability of discount passes for unlimited bus and subway use enhances affordability for navigating the bay area.
