Zapresic offers a somewhat walkable environment, particularly near the city center where you'll find shops, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. However, outside of these central areas, travelers will likely need to rely on public transportation or cars to access a broader range of amenities. While charming and walkable spots exist, they are limited, and daily tasks might require more than just walking, making it good for short walks to local spots but not fully sufficient for daily needs.

Zapresic provides good public transit options, especially for connectivity to Zagreb. Frequent bus and train services run between the two cities, with convenient travel times making it easy to access Zagreb's broader resources. The presence of night buses and improved infrastructure adds to its appeal for travelers planning to commute often. This makes Zapresic a practical base for those working or socializing in the capital but preferring a quieter residential area.

Zapresic is bikeable with a generally flat terrain and some new cycling paths developed as part of recent infrastructure projects. With bike racks available at public transport hubs, biking within certain areas is feasible.
