Brandon has a reasonably walkable downtown area where travelers can conveniently access shops, restaurants, and services. The presence of sidewalks in many neighborhoods facilitates walking to essential destinations like grocery stores and parks. However, the separation between neighborhoods and amenities may require longer walking distances, especially outside the downtown area. Travelers relying solely on walking might experience limitations, particularly in the cold winter months.

Brandon Transit offers a basic bus service with several routes, suitable for fundamental transportation needs. However, the overall transit network is not very extensive, with limited coverage in certain areas, and the frequency of buses is not very high.
