Cavite City offers a convenient walkable experience, particularly in its older districts such as Arellano and East Del Rosario, where the areas are more compact. Travelers can easily reach various amenities such as restaurants, shops, and historical sites on foot. The city's layout fosters a walking-friendly environment, and the proximity to the seaside adds to the appeal, making coastal walks enjoyable. However, certain areas may not be as accessible by foot, limiting the overall walkability slightly.

Cavite City has a decent public transit system, characterized by readily available jeepneys, buses, and tricycles which facilitate local and regional travel. Although traffic congestion can sometimes slow down trips, accessibility to Manila and nearby provinces through buses and vans is convenient. While the existing system is generally effective, it faces limitations in terms of speed and connectivity, with improvements expected once ongoing projects like the LRT-1 extension become operational.

Cavite City's bikeability is limited due to developing infrastructure. Although the region is beginning to construct bike lanes, such as those in Bacoor, these do not yet cover the broader city area. The lack of consistent dedicated paths, combined with traffic and varied road conditions, can pose challenges for cyclists. As such, biking can be somewhat risky or uncomfortable, offering a mixed experience for travelers who prefer to explore the city by bike.
