Local shops and cafes are conveniently located within this area, making it easy to meet daily needs without transportation. However, exploring beyond the hilltop may involve some uphill walking and stairs, which could be a challenge for some travelers.

Travelers can easily access Kirtipur from Kathmandu through a network of affordable local buses that operate regularly. This connectivity is beneficial, especially for those without private vehicles, and taxis or ride-sharing services like Pathao further add convenience for longer distances. However, within Kirtipur itself, the reliance on walking is more prevalent, as public transit options are limited.
