Buses managed by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company provide accessible routes within the city and to nearby Hulhumale, while ferries are essential for inter-island travel, offering a cost-effective travel option for exploring the region. While speedboats offer faster services, they come at a higher price, making them less ideal for budget-conscious travelers.

While biking is feasible in Malé, it's not yet an ideal destination for cyclists due to limited dedicated infrastructure.
