However, many of the key attractions and accommodations across the island are spread far apart, necessitating the use of additional transport to navigate daily tasks, explore other beaches, or reach coworking spaces. The lack of consistent sidewalks in some parts of the island can make walking less safe, posing a challenge for those prioritizing pedestrian-friendly travel.

Public transport options in Panglao are fairly limited. While there are buses and jeepneys mainly connecting Panglao to Tagbilaran City, their routes and schedules may not align well with a traveler's needs, making them unreliable for frequent or spontaneous trips. Tricycles are more readily available but negotiating fares can be a hurdle, and ride-hailing apps are not consistently operational. Biking around Panglao is quite feasible due to the island’s mainly flat terrain and the presence of a well-maintained circumferential road.
