This ongoing development suggests improving access around the city, though currently, travelers might need to rely on alternative options like Uber for more immediate needs.
The bikeability of Rustenburg is quite limited due to insufficient bike infrastructure in many areas. Although some dedicated bicycle lanes have been constructed as part of the RRT project, they are not widespread enough to make biking a primary transport mode. The city's terrain may also pose challenges for cyclists. Therefore, while biking is an option on certain routes with dedicated lanes, it remains less feasible for extensive travel across Rustenburg.
