While a traveler can conduct most daily errands on foot in certain districts, the presence of well-equipped cafes and public markets further enhances the walkable appeal, although occasional transport may be necessary.

Public transportation in Taytay offers good connectivity through jeepneys, buses, taxis, and UV Express services that link to Metro Manila, providing travelers with options to explore key areas, albeit with potential challenges like crowded conditions and longer travel times. The potential addition of MRT Line 4 could make transit even more efficient, while current routes already ensure decent access to nearby cities, complemented by tricycles for shorter, localized trips.

Taytay presents some bikeability with initiatives like new bike lanes on its diversion road and dedicated paths along the Laguna Lake Highway. However, the experience may not yet be ideal due to heavy traffic and incomplete infrastructure, making cycling more suitable for recreation or short, specific commutes where lanes exist.
